  • Descompactar o arquivo baixado (ojs-2.x.x.tar.gz) dentro da pasta home/[nome-do-usuario]:
tar -vzxf ojs-2.x.x.tar.gz

Instalar Apache / MySQL (versão >= 3.23) / PHP (versão >= 4.2.x)

Apache

apt-get update
apt-get install apache2

MySQL

apt-get install mysql-server

Notepad.gif NOTA: Durante a instalação, será pedida a senha de root. Não se preocupe se perder a chance de definí-la. Há uma maneira muito simples de setá-la posteriormente.

Execute o script de instalação segura do servidor MySQL:

mysql_secure_installation
